Caught my eye
This week I did something my friends don’t believe. I read the New York Times, the Financial Times and the Wall Street Journal on my Kindle.
How was it? Slow. I make it through the carbon hard copy much quicker. Interestingly, however, I read the articles with more care. Should I choose value over time? I haven’t decided yet.
Did any catch my eye?
When Washington DC was deluged with snow, it was the Kenyan-born Ushahidi that helped it dig out. Crowd sourcing. Like it.
Save the worlders want to lift the poor out of poverty by creating jobs and generating wealth. But will wealth only keep the poor poor?
And like every spring, love blossoms. And mine is for www.aidthoughts.org and Tyler Cowen, www.marginalrevolution.com.
What’s on my iPod: It was a crazy week folks. So here’s a crazy list….
Esperanza Spalding plays with McCoy Tyner. McCoy Tyner! Passion Dance.
Tiger Lily
Cause I like a boy called Smokestack Lightnin’ (or is that the name of your radio show?)
